Millennial Fair – Princess Mononoke Page

Introduction:

Ashitaka, a young and very skilled warrior whom resides in a small village with his small and endangered clan, finds himself battling for his life against possessed boar in order to ensure the safety of loved one’s. What triggered this sudden attack upon his once peaceful village is unknown to Ashitake, but after killing the ferocious beast, he discovers that it was in fact a Demon God, that came to be what it was due to human anger. Ashitake also discovers that as a result of this battle, he had been cursed with something incurable to simple human science, the only cure of which being something that humans take for granted: nature.

Ashitake sets out on his journey to the west where it is thought that this mysterious cure may be, but what he finds is more bloodshed, more war, and more pain. Lady Eboshi has created war tools to help her and her army of humans in taking over the forestlands, where she is opposed to the animal Gods, such as the Wolf, the Boar and the infamous Princess Mononoke. The battle between the humans and nature is about to begin...
