Millennial Fair – Final Fantasy VII Soundtrack
Nobuo Uematsu’s first piece for the Playstation
was the soundtrack for the ever popular Final Fantasy game. Uematsu’s
last work, the Final Fantasy VI soundtrack, is perhaps better when
it comes to arrangement and depth. The Final Fantasy VII soundtrack
though, is one of the more solid, instantly discernable sounds of
the RPG world. Unfortunately, Uematsu never released a good arranged
album like Mitsuda did with Creid.
But instead, the Reunion Soundtrack was released later on. Somehow,
it did not compare to Creid, or the later CDs, Pray and Love Will
Grow.
