 Prier - La Pucelle
She’s loud, rude and self-centered, but she also a promising student in La Pucelle: the Demon Hunting
Special Tactical Unit of the Church of the Holy Maiden. Having lost her parents at a young age, Prier and her
little brother Culotte were forced to live in an orphanage in Pot au Feu City. A few years down the road, she
and her little brother joined the Church of the Holy Maiden as initiates. Her goal: to become the next Maiden
of Light and vanquish all of the Demon Lords that threaten the land.
 Culotte - La Pucelle
The younger brother of Prier and a junior member of La Pucelle. His parents died at an early age, so he
does not remember them. He loves his older sister even though she takes advantage of him and often finds
himself at the receiving end of a knuckle-sandwich. Although he wants and needs to be protected, he also
has the desire to be free and live like a real man. He has a huge crush of Sister Alouette, but he is too
shy to tell her and is often frustrated when he sees other people in love...
 Alouette - La Pucelle
The instructor of Prier and Culotte and a member of La Pucelle. Father Salade found her unconscious two
years ago and brought her to the church. She had no memory of her past, and the only thing she had was the
the Holy Book of the Goddess Poitreene. She is a skilled fighter and magician even though she has only been
in La Pucelle for a while. When her team is great trouble, she is able to perform small miracles to save them.
However, they drain her of her energy, and every time she risks her life for the wel-fare of others. She has
many visions of the Goddess Poitreene, and it looks like she is destined to become the next Maiden of Light.
 Father Salade - La Pucelle
Founder of the church of the Holy Maiden and leader of La Pucelle. For fifty years he has been fighting
demons and training others to do so. He is married to the Director of the Orphanage, and is now a retired
investigator rather than an active leader. His knowledge of demons is astounding, and perhaps he still has
some fight left in him.
 Croix - Demon Hunter
This mysterious young man works as a freelance Demon Hunter in the Kingdom of Paprica. He is hired by the
Church of the Devine Mother to investigate certain incidents. However, after meeting Prier he decided to
tag along with her and La Pucelle. Like Alouette, he woke up two years ago with no memory of the past. All
he knew was how to fight demons effectively. In Prier he sees a girl he knew in the past, so perhaps by
staying close to her will he be able to find out more of his past.
 Eclair - Princess
The beautiful and refined Princess of the Kingdom of Paprica and daughter of Queen Crepine. She will be
the next in line for succesion of the throne, and she must train hard for her future role. In addition,
her mothers wants her to become the next Maiden of Light. Though calm and composed, her smile hides a lot
of sadness and frustration with the limited freedom that comes with nobility. She is an able warrior and
magician, but does she truly desire to stay in her golden cage forever?
 Homard - Escargot Crew
The boss of the Pirate Kitties, and the Captain of the Escargot. It is rumored that he is actually of
Royal descent, and that he fled the noble life to lead one that is more adventurous. One day he challenged
the leader of the Pirate Kitties, Yattanya to a duel while the kitties were raiding a port town. Homard won
the duel and then asumed command of the kitties. His ship, the Escargot, is the only flying ship in the
Kingdom of Paprica, and uses mysterious gems as a power source. Homard is arrogrant, violent and pig-headed,
but he is also a man of honor who will do anything to bring peace back to the world, as long as there will
be treasure involved...
 Yattanya - Escargot Crew
The former Captain and leader of the Pirate Kitties. He is a fearsome car warrior who will fight anyone
who is powerful enough. One day, while raiding a port, he ran into Homard and challenged him to a duel.
Eventually, Yattanya lost the match, and from then on he served as Homard’s First Mate of the
Flying Ship Escargot. He has little respect for the fairy Papillon, and often engages in verbal conflict
with her. He swears loyalty to Homard only.
 Papillon - Escargot Crew
This tiny fairy is a close friend of Homard and crew member of the Escargot. They have know each other for a very long time, and Papillon
is infatuated with his boastful mischievousness. Even though she is small, she has a powerful voice and she
will not back away from a fight. Given the chance, she’ll sucker-punch you a good one if you piss
her off enough. She comes across as quite arrogant, and she does not tolerate any women trying their moves
on Homard. She does not get along with the first-mate Yattanya.
 Chocolate - Escargot Crew
The Chocolate Gang, or the Pirate Kitties are powerful kitty warriors and experienced sailors of both the
sea and the sky. They all work loyally for Captain Homard and their former Captain Yattanya. They may
seem cute and fairly harmless, but these kitties can pack a mean punch and do not back away from anything.
Their pilot, Monya-Monya, is the only one who really knows how to fly the Escargot.
 Noir - Church of the Divine Mother
This shadowy figure appeared not too long ago and founded the church of the Divine Mother. His clerics
are dressed in black robes and their practises are elusive. Noir controls the masses by promising them
salvation from the pains of existance, and so he has worked himself into a perfect position of power.
As the head of the church, Noir is extremely powerful and his motives are unclear. Prier and her friends
will have to keep an extra eye out for this man.
