To Purify or not to Purify

Instead of walking around hastily trying to purify as much Dark Portals as possible, try defeating about 70% of your enemies first. Then use a monster with a Sleep ability and put as much enemies to sleep. Now use your units to make large squares (or any other form of a square that leads back to itself) and purify them to get miracles. You can use healer (Alouette or Culotte) to heal the sleeping enemies so that you can do more miracles on them. The larger the square you make with a purification, the higher your bonus at the end of the battle will be.

Purifying by Monsters

If you want to have your monsters using the purify ability, make sure you train them and give them 10 hapiness. As long as they are prefectly happy they will be able to purify. Hapiness will go down when you train your monsters for physical improvement, and when they die in battle.

Don’t be Hasty

After every Field Map, you are able to go back to the World Map by going back through the way you came. It is always best to enter a battle with full HP and EP, especially if you do not know what is next. You can also save after each battle. I suggest making two save games, one at the beginning and one during the chapter. The first you can use in case you did not get the ending you hoped for, and the second for when you die in battle or make a mistake.

Good Money

Money is always a good thing to have, if you have weaker characters, instead of having them attack, let them Purify as much Dark Portals as possible before you kill off the enemies. Since enemies always attack no matter what their HP, you will find that a battle can be over pretty quickly and there are still several portals left to Purify. Not only does Purify give you Prica, it also allows you to level up your items really fast.

Change Monster Direction

Is one monster facing a way that you do not want it to? Stand next to the enemy and select the Item command from the menu, and then select a usable item (i.e. Cough Drops) and then highlight the enemy but instead of accept, press cancel. Now back in the menu, go to Change Direction to change the direction that the monster is facing!

Warp 10 Mrs.Prier

After having obtained the Warp Shoes, you can use them to transport every team member to a desired location instead of just one. First, equip it on Prier and then move her, then select the Item command and equip something else (a weapon or armor) in the place of the Warp Shoes). Now select your next character, for example Croix, and move him one square from the base. Then equip the Warp Shoes and cancel his move, then move again to have the unlimited range again! Do this for as much as you want.

First, buy something cheap at the Rosenqueen shop, then take the survery and ask them for cheaper items. Then fight a battle and go back. Now buy all of the cheap items and then resell them. Their stock will be depleted, so next time they stock up they will order special items from the Dark World instead! These items are among the best in the game.
