Extra Experience Points:
While in combat, try to hit the enemy more than once while he is
juggled in the air. This will cause blue crystals to be dropped,
which add 10% to the total Experience of that battle. Some characters
like Ayle and Lucian have attacks that hit mutiple times, using those
while your opponent is in the air, will result in a lot of
crystals for your party. To turn all your enemies into Crystals,
use the “Tome of Alchemy” on them. This is a rare book
that you will find several times, and you can also Transmutate
several Magic weapons to it. Use these on High Exp monsters, such
as the Zombie Dragons.
Save the first Eye of Heaven
Saving the Eye of Heaven that you get in the first dungeon, will
help you later on when you come to one of the dungeons that are
hidden and do not have an Eye of Heaven. Not using this item
in the first (easy) dungeon, will also allowed you to use it
every time when you enter a new dungeon, because you will find
a new eye in every one. That way you can always see your
area right at the start.
Dragon Slaying Sword in first Dungeon!
After you defeat your first boss the Elder Vampire in the
Artolia Mountain Ruins, you will get two chests with treasures
from Odin. Send up the “Sealed Box” treasure, but
keep the Jewelled Blade “Grimrist”. This blade will
cut through Zombie Dragons like butter, and will help you
tremendously during your travels.
