[Kingdom of Tang by Jason Branton]

A gust of sorrow surrounds the orient
Throwing those she loves over the edge
Darkness pumps from deep within her heart
Making the worlds brightest days seem dim
And as her emotions grow and cover the land
The storm now centered over him
He’ll be better off to say...
We'd be better off if he agreed

And as this fool sits atop his hill
Her friends and family begin to feel the chill
Of a cold shoulder thrown to their face
Of the likes they’ve never seen before
And her lightning strikes all but one place
Destroying the halls where we once sang
This storm of love not near it’s calm
Stretching back to the Kingdom of Tang

The boy walks through the rubble of dismay
With no remorse, for he’s fine anyway
He spots the raven haired one along the way
Her body begins to shiver and sway
So he closes his eyes opens his mouth
All left alive listen to what he must say...
