[King of Wars by Jason Branton]

Sparkling daylight shoots across the land
Covering the victims from your lonely wars
As you sit among the smoke and flesh
This new face I’ve never seen before
But my love was burried here amongst the dead
Remembered only by child’s secrets
Please just help me dig her out
So I can return hoooome

And pyromaniacs fear
the fires that burn from within in your eyes
Your will unshaken
But now your heart brings only cold

Moonlight rises with the stench of death
The families on a journey to mourn
for the son’s they lost on your bad day
From their remains flowers are born
And from your gain their hearts are torn
Now, the lost souls I must attend
You, the hero of all wars in the end
Why stop me from going hoooome?

And serial killers fear
The pain and destruction you bring near
Thier lives all taken
Now their blood becomes so cold
